I'm the only fan in my fandom

I seem to make stamps in times of stress. Hmm...

Ever felt like you were the only fan in your fandom because you're the only person you know who's into it? You even tried very hard to get others into it, even your closest friends, but no one does because they give the excuse that they're "too lazy" or probably because they just don't give a crap about the things you like. I feel like that a lot. A lot of the things I'm into I have no one to relate with, and it gets very sad and lonely. Then everyone else looks at me like I'm crazy for liking something no one else likes.

Which is why I hate a lot of the stuff most people hype over (recently, Brawl). Why should I like it, if no one's going to get into the stuff I'm obsessed with?
