Artist's Comments
All questions and concerns you really want answered/replied to should be directed to my main account, =neekko. I do not check messages often here.
I hope this stamp doesn't take too long to load. Neekko not asking for critiques? WHAT IS THIS?!??!?!?!?! Yes, I do discourage critiques on a few deviations, mostly commissions or art that is obviously crappy and in need of work. Though, there are some people who don't even know such an option exists. Above the comment box, just below your name, is a short message. It either says "Your Comment", "Advanced Critique Encouraged", or "Critique Not Desired". It's awfully small and I can understand people not seeing it. Back in the day those messages where large, glaring icons, so it was almost impossible to miss them (dA really needs to bring them back). But just because it's too small to see at first glance doesn't mean you shouldn't do your research before commenting. Read everything, the artist's comments, other comments, questions that may have been answered, the critique/no critique message. EVERYTHING. Also, I know there are assfaces out there who think they are so great they don't need critiques, but please respect their wishes regardless. If they don't want you saying anything, don't say it. Common courtesy, really. Stamp Template by $zilla774 stamp by =neekko |

But just as a warning, many arrogant members of this site will display this stamp in their journals thinking that it justifies their lack of talent and laziness. You know, the type who's only comments consist of "OMG SOOO KAWAII!!!!1" and who's gallery is stuffed with tracing and crappy MSPaint doodles and, when faced with any real critique, will fly into fits of "ITS MY STILE SHUT UP U JELOUS NOOB!!!1"
That's what has some people worked up over this stamp. There are legitimate reasons for not wanting critiques, but they are in the minority.

Just kidding, just kidding! ^_^
I'll point out to everybody once again that if you don't want critique then don't post it publicly. By posting it in public, the artist is basically exposing their art to be critisized. It would be unrealistic and arrogant for artists to upload their works and expect only "FUCKING A, MAN!" comments.
