All questions and concerns you really want answered/replied to should be directed to my main account, =neekko. I do not check messages often here.

I hope this stamp doesn't take too long to load.

Neekko not asking for critiques? WHAT IS THIS?!??!?!?!?! Yes, I do discourage critiques on a few deviations, mostly commissions or art that is obviously crappy and in need of work.

Though, there are some people who don't even know such an option exists. Above the comment box, just below your name, is a short message. It either says "Your Comment", "Advanced Critique Encouraged", or "Critique Not Desired". It's awfully small and I can understand people not seeing it. Back in the day those messages where large, glaring icons, so it was almost impossible to miss them (dA really needs to bring them back).

But just because it's too small to see at first glance doesn't mean you shouldn't do your research before commenting. Read everything, the artist's comments, other comments, questions that may have been answered, the critique/no critique message. EVERYTHING.

Also, I know there are assfaces out there who think they are so great they don't need critiques, but please respect their wishes regardless. If they don't want you saying anything, don't say it. Common courtesy, really.

I understand. Some people don't like criticism because they don't want to improve.

sometimes, i give harsh critique to these sort of people just to spark lol coasters and see how badly they handle themselves. trust me, it's real funny to watch

I really hate to sound like a jerk. But this stamp is for over sensitive pussies who can't have their precious little egos
shattered.
If I EVER see this goddamn stamp on your ('your' being anyone who reads this comment) account, I will call you out for the pussy that you are.
Therefore it is best that you block me now If you have this stamp. Because I don't want to fucking talk your wimpy ass anyway.
Sorry if I came across as rude, but I feel very strong about this.
I think the majority of those who want to use this stamp are haltering themselves with petty excuses. They hurt whatever medium they are in and outright insult all the other artists who work hard to better themselves. Am I right?

is it bad that i request critiques on all of my deviations, even though sometimes it's not needed?

No. Critique is invaluable to any artist, regardless of how experienced or inexperienced they are. It helps them to learn and grow and improve at what they do! :)

A critique is any comment of any form whatsoever, except for unrelated comments, on an artwork (or anything else)

Therefore, close your comments section.
